The Shop on Main Street is a 1965 Czechoslovakian film about the Aryanization program during World War II in the Slovak Republic. The film was written by Ladislav Grosman and directed by Ján Kadár and Elmar Klos. It follows a mild-mannered Slovak carpenter, Tóno Brtko, who is appointed as the "Aryan controller" of a Jewish widow's shop during World War II in Slovakia.
