The Talking Magpies (1946)
This short is notable for being the debut of Heckle and Jeckle, two magpies which would become some of Terrytoons' most well-known characters aside from Mighty Mouse (their most well-known creation). It is also the only short featuring Heckle and Jeckle to be in the public domain, as well as one of the few Terrytoons shorts to be in the public domain. This cartoon fell into the public domain in 1974. Plot: A married couple of Magpies are searching for a place to nest, they look at the Magpies' Hotel only to be kicked out as there isn't a vacancy, afterwards they find some nests made out of hat
