The Lost World (1925)
Based on the Conan-Doyle novel of the same name, The Lost World follows a group of adventurers who discover that dinosaurs still exist on Earth, residing in a previously undiscovered South American plateau. The film is considered to be the first ever produced with stop motion as a primary special effect, or animation in general.
